Summary
Aventurine had met Sunday long ago in almost another lifetime. Aventurine had been younger, his hair longer, and had been going by one of many different names he could never fully recall anymore. Back then, he often found himself falling into the beds of influential men.
Penacony was a planet Aventurine would often visit. The main draw of the Planet of Festivities and its expansive dreamscape for Aventurine’s clients was that it allowed them to forego certain safety precautions. However, being contacted by a member of the Oak Family was a novelty even for someone as prolific as Aventurine.
Sunday was known for his stunning looks, but in person, he was particularly radiant. He seemed to shimmer from head to toe, his gaze piercing Aventurine. Despite not being much shorter than Sunday, Aventurine felt like he was being stared down by a powerful god.
Sometimes, when he's left alone with his thoughts, Aventurine thinks about Sunday and the night they spent together all those years ago.
