Summary
After the events of his fourth year, Harry Potter finds that he is unwilling to suffer any more than necessary.
Nightmares of the graveyard are leaving him exhausted, stressed, and willing to do anything for a good night's rest. However much Harry might try, he can't stay awake forever, and he does not want to watch Cedric Diggory die every time he closes his eyes. Summary Part 1:
Setting: The story begins during Harry’s Occlumency lessons in his fifth year. Harry makes it clear to Snape that he needs help in his fight against Voldemort, and Snape agrees to take on that responsibility. However, when Harry asks him where his resentment towards him stems from, Snape makes the mistake of telling him the truth—complicating everything between them.

Summary
After the final battle, Severus somehow lives with the help of Harry and Harry Potter comes back to Hogwarts to work as the DADA professor. Released from his duties of being a double agent, Severus becomes more relaxed, almost different person—still strict but not unnecessarily so. Harry doesn’t know what to make of this new Severus.

Summary

He finally works up the courage to ask Severus out, and the two start what they both assume is a casual relationship that quickly becomes more.
