The last thing Mister Bug wants to do is finagle wires around flowers.
He’ll end up crushing all the buds between his fingers or cutting the stems too short, creating the saddest flower crown ever to exist. In history. A part of him feels obligated to say a prayer for the floral massacre that will inevitably occur.
And that really sucks for a guy known to conjure magical objects out of thin air.
He’s sure his lady’s skills far outweigh his own in this area. His partner is too nice to outright laugh at him—although, truthfully, she will, even just a cute snicker hidden behind her gloved paw.
It’s not those things he’s worried about.
It’s everything else that’s happened today.
And he doubts that a flower crown will make it any better.

He took a big sip of his soy milk, turning his attention back to his tofu scramble. Which is exactly the moment Robin decided to throw a grenade into the calm of the morning.
