Several years ago, the young Hunter Captain Kim Hongjoong had been betrothed to Park Seonghwa, the heir to the vampire Coven, in order to appease the age-old Treaties between Hunters and vampires. Their marriage, however, had been put on hold indefinitely.
After the recent, unexpected assassination of the Coven’s Sire, Hongjoong vowed to help them find the killer.
And the wedding date was finally set.
Hongjoong was given just a week to prepare for the impending loss of his family, his role as a Hunter, and his own humanity. He would, of course, be Made into a vampire soon after the wedding, joining the Coven in eternal unlife.

At first, Mike was unsure how to approach him when he got like this. But they’ve been living together for months now, never further than five feet apart in their dorm beds, so Mike’s learned what works and what doesn’t.
It works when he wakes Will like this, with gentle hands and words, telling him he’s safe. It works when he climbs into Will’s warm bed, turning him on his side and curling up against his back, an arm over his waist and his cheek pressed against his shoulder. They lie together like that until Will’s hiccupping gasps soften into steady breaths, until Mike feels him go limp in his arms and he knows he’s fallen back asleep. It always works.
or: Will has nightmares and Mike is the only one who can console him. Not even Will's boyfriend can. Mike takes great pride in this fact.

“You haven’t fucked with me yet,” Hongjoong sharply replied.
Hongjoong's plan was simple. Sneak into the fae party, find the treasury, steal what he needed, then get out before the guards, or anyone else, caught him. He didn't plan on running into Park Seonghwa, a vampire coven leader who hates his guts, nor did he plan on getting covered by a strange, blue powder that ends up being a powerful sex drug. Now he had three choices. Drink the blood of an elf, have sex with his somewhat enemy, or die painfully after a few agonizing hours. Hongjoong might regret it later, but his choice was clear. He just needed to make sure Seonghwa didn't find out who he really was.

Summary
Kim Hongjoong, a child of two servants, grew up with the prince, Park Seonghwa. They'd often meet each other at night, sneaking out past their bedtimes and away from their families. Whenever Prince Seonghwa presents as an omega, however, their friendship falls apart, and they never see each other.

Seonghwa is a kindergarten teacher who never thought he would be teaching the child of his ex-boyfriend and first love, Hongjoong. He also didn't expect Hongjoong to come back into his life covered in bruises.
