Minutely, Vaggi and Sera made their way downstairs, with Vaggi holding tightly onto Sera’s hand and steadying herself with her other hand on the wall. “Walk… walk… walk…” she whispered the mantra to herself with each step she went down.
Beside her, Sera was positively glowing at how well Vaggi was taking it in. She actually listened and was following directions.

Summary
Vaggi’s curious nature was one of the very important things that Carmilla tried to smoothly navigate when it came to the infant, but she had already gently explained to Vaggi—as much as she could with such a young being and an even younger attention span—time and time again that the welding and construction area was no place for her. Of course, all she would get in response would be spit bubbles and pouts. Sometimes even a few wandering fingers and babbling, if Vaggi felt determined enough to plead her case.
