But you came to know that those words of promised salvation to the believers that chose to reject so-called sin in favor of a life devout, were as hallow as the echo that rang across the consecrated walls that housed them. Those seated on the holy throne speak with silver tongues, bitter of taste and shrill of sound, spewing nothing but contrived rote from behind gold stained teeth. Below the ground, the mouths of the unsanctified open wide to sing songs of freedom profane, unshackled, tongues of flesh and blood. Won’t you sing with them?
