But he's far too stubborn to ask for help. Cigarettes and self-loathing were far easier than talking to someone. But maybe he should call Somerset. Maybe he missed him. Maybe he thought of him and didn't want to admit it.

But after a brutal crash, hiding his pain from everyone becomes a little harder. Especially the part where he has to hide it from Ruben. Ruben always noticed everything. And he refuses to just stand by and watch when Sonny spirals. So he pushes his way in, determined to help an idiot who wants help from no one.
