Summary
It just made sense to pull Roxie out of her shitty hole in a wall apartment into Velma’s own so they could split the bill, just for a little while. Roxie could pack all of her convent-girl dresses into a single suitcase, because apparently she never bothered to play nice with that John of hers for long enough to go home and get her stuff. Velma finds that to be a waste of resources.
“There’s only one bed in here,” Roxie complains in that sweet apple farmgirl voice that she has. Velma can kind of see why the jury bought it.

Summary
