Spamton yanked Tenna by the tie and kissed him.
At first, Spamton was certain that he had made a huge mistake. His lips and teeth collided with firm, static glass. Tenna’s screen was smooth and unmoving, like kissing a dinner plate. He probably looked like an absolute idiot.

Summary
The pen weighed like lead in his hand.
A sword hung heavy above his head, and Spamton knew that signing the contract would sever the thin thread holding it aloft. He should not sign it.
The lord of the screens, cleaved red by blade. An addison turned puppet, strings cleaved by prophecized heroes. But long before that, a budding relationship, cleaved in two by the same forces that brought them together in the first place. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, and for the light that they brought each other, they were both cast into darkness.
It's in their darkest moments that their fates are intertwined once again. But they've been apart for much longer than they've been together, and the years have not been kind to either of them. Rebuilding takes time, and they may not be the same people as they once were, but their light is due for a rekindling.
