Summary
This story takes place right after the final scene of the movie and the book.
PLOT:
Brian has just discovered the truth. The mystery that obsessed him throughout his teenage years is finally clear, and the reality turned out to be more tragic and miserable than he could have imagined. Brian has grown up overnight, all of a sudden, and he will never be as innocent as he once was. His dreams of becoming a researcher and writer about ufology now bring him a bitter, sarcastic smile. He doesn’t know what to do with himself: he no longer trusts his instincts as much, since he just found out he lived in denial and dissociation for a large part of his life, and he feels a sense of disgust towards his own body, no longer seeing it as his own. He feels very tired, even though he knows that strange changes are happening within him.

Summary
AU where Mikami and Light are almost the same age, Light 15, Mikami 16, and the Death Note doesn’t yet exist in their lives, and their lives are normal (amid all the chaos of the world around them). Mikami becomes curious about the student with the highest grades in the country, Yagami Light, and when he reads Light’s essays, he discovers they share similar ideals. The obsession begins. It’s his first and only crush—intense, devoted, but things are getting a little out of hand... Light was supposed to be a source of inspiration for Mikami, a way to surpass himself, not to lose himself like this...

Summary
