“Why wouldn’t I come?” said Billy, semi-melted ice cream dripping from his spoon. “I like ice cream.” He shoved the spoonful into his mouth and said around it, “Who doesn’t like ice cream?”
“Lactose intolerant people,” said Clark.
“They make special ice cream for that these days.” Billy teased the wafer out of his sundae and munched on it thoughtfully. “So,” he said. “Are you guys kicking me out of the League?”
