The fact was, Miku and Teto were dating in all but name. Still, their job as idols didn't allow them to get together without a massive scandal that might ruin their careers. So no public displays of affection, no shameless flirting, and no official dates.
Because of this, Teto has grown rather attached to their alone time together, where they can be their true selves.
And because of that, Teto has grown rather resentful of the fact that Miku kept. Singing. About. Love. Which was fine, but the object of that affection wasn't her! And that was simply unacceptable.

The outside is too dangerous, though, and Father always tells Xiv of the dangers lurking in the outside world. If only Xiv were competent enough not to disappoint Father. If only Xiv had more control over their magic. (If only they were not a disappointment.)

Summary
So… Enjin knows himself, and he knows he is not someone suited to dealing with children. Piercing cries, overwhelming tantrums, and the strange language they seem to speak all confuse him, wear down his patience, and -at worst- make him feel useless and out of place. And yet, through a series of unforeseen incidents, he ends up becoming the babysitter of the youngest member of the Akuta team.
