Summary
Dennis Whitaker was taught from a young age how to be small, how to take a hit, and how you never, never take something that doesn't belong to you. When an encounter with an unruly patient leads to permanent, devastating consequences, Jack and Robby step in with their unique knowledge to help Dennis transition to his new normal. However, no amount of experience can prepare any of them for the ways their lives will change as a result.
It's Robby, there's no doubt about that, but under the campfire-backwoods-damp-earth smell of him is something sharper, older, that hits Dennis like a lightning strike.
