Sabo reaches out, fingers curling into the fabric. Rough. Cheap. Still warm.
He can’t resist.
He drags it to his face, pressing the rough cloth hard against his skin, and breathes in. It smells like sweat, like blood, like salt, like Luffy. The scent hits him so sharply it sends a tingle crawling up his spine, equal parts grounding and dizzying. He should be ashamed—hell, maybe he is—but he can’t let go. Not yet.
He should’ve left “Lucy’s” cape in Dressrosa’s dust.

Luffy detonates. It rips through her like a lightning strike, sharp and bright and too much. She keens into the bit, then sobs, then giggles on accident because the sensation scrambles her wires. Her stomach slams and flutters; her thighs tremble until the strap squeals and her toes cramp.
The camera gets the whole pretty disaster.
Her sweet little sister would never say no.

Luffy looked at him for a long time, eyes unreadable in the pale moonlight. Zoro could see the gears grinding behind them, slow and stubborn. He was trying to understand, and Zoro hated the way it made him feel. Like he was holding something fragile and dangerous in his hands at the same time.
Finally, Luffy spoke, quiet as the creak of the ship. “…But if it’s not a game, then why did I play it?”
Luffy calls it a game. Zoro knows better.
