A glitch in the station’s data storage results in Odo reading a list written by Quark. The glitch affects the translation and text, and all Odo can make out of the title is ‘10 Things I — About Odo’.
Immediately, he assumes the missing word is ‘hate’, and uses this opportunity to annoy the hell out of his enemy. At first, anyway. Some of the items on the list are a little personal, and he wonders why Quark seemingly hates EVERYTHING about him. And, most importantly, why that thought rubs him the wrong way so much. Of course, you can predict a mile away that the missing word isn’t ‘hate’, can’t you?
Meanwhile, Quark realises that he found the list, but doesn’t realise that he thinks the missing word is ‘hate’. Misunderstandings abound.
