Jinsol’s lips pulled into a lopsided smile. Mirth dancing in her gaze. “I’m always gentle.”
Yoona shook her head. Jinsol shook her head too, mirroring Yoona, though her smile grew a bit wider.
“You’re loud. You literally threatened to choke me in front of the patient earlier this morning.”
“That’s because you’re still a fully functioning human then.” Jinsol tilted her head. “Now you’re just so soft and pliant like a baby.”

Summary
It wasn't supposed to be like this.
Lily cups her face and kisses her forehead, “I love you so much Haewonnie. We’ll always have the next life. I love you.” She sounds like she’s trying not to cry. Haewon knows something is wrong, tries to say something to reassure her, but she can’t seem to find the strength to open her mouth and do something about it.
Just like that, Lily is gone and Haewon’s world fades into black.
