Meian clapped his hands. “Sorry, Sakusa-kun, but there’s no one else we could send for this. You’re to interview Miya Atsumu tomorrow for his upcoming film.”
His brows furrowed. “Miya Atsumu? The model? In a film?” Who allowed that?
“Yes. It will be his acting debut. And it’s for an Ennoshita Chikara film, too, it’s kind of a big deal.”
“Seriously?” That guy was an award-winning director. “What strings did that Miya guy pull to get the role?”

Reading this made me so happy. Always love domestic sakuatsu, and the progression of their relationship was so organic and satisfying. Atsumus character is one of the best, most wholesome interpretations I’ve ever come across. Tenacious and hard headed, it comes through beautifully in the way he loves, not afraid to go after and get who he wants.

Summary
"What?" Sakusa whispered.
Atsumu closed his eyes. The pain in his chest was so absolute, so all-consuming, that it transcended physical sensation. He felt hollowed out. He felt like a ghost haunting his own life. They loved each other. He knew they did. But their love had mutated into a disease. It was rotting them both from the inside out. Sakusa would stay out of duty, out of guilt, out of a clinical need to preserve life, and Atsumu would slowly poison him with his grief.
He loved Sakusa too much to let him become a nurse to a corpse.
"I want a divorce," Atsumu said. He opened his eyes and met Sakusa’s horrified gaze. His voice was steady, finalized by the absolute certainty of his own destruction. "I'm done, Kiyoomi. I want out."
