If only Newt and Chuck and Teresa and all the others could’ve seen it. He watched as the sun began to slip beneath the horizon, the feeling of guilt that he’d been carrying for so long finally subsiding and falling with the sun.
He closed his eyes for a brief moment, but when he opened them again– no- no, no, no..This couldn’t be happening– Thomas opened his eyes and he was back in his sleeping bag in The Glade. What was all of that just then? A dream? This couldn’t be happening right now. It all felt so real. How could it have been a dream?
OR
Thomas dreams about what had happened. All of it. Everyone dying, them escaping the maze, getting to the safe haven. He speaks with some of the others and they realize they now know how to get out and what to watch out for. But can they do it?
