Optimus knelt beside Starscream, his massive frame dwarfing the Seeker's slender form. "I will carry him." Without further explanation, he slid one arm beneath Starscream's shoulders and the other under his knees, lifting him with careful precision. The Decepticon's limp form pressed against Optimus's chest plates, his head lolling against the Autobot insignia. For a brief moment, Optimus's ventilation systems hitched, his optics dimming slightly as he adjusted his hold.

Grieving Cliffjumper's loss, Arcee struggles with her conflicting emotions when she and Optimus discover an injured, amnesiac Starscream. Optimus, meanwhile, finds himself drawn to the vulnerable scientist beneath the Decepticon facade, his gentle touches and protective instincts revealing deeper currents of connection. Meanwhile, Megatron is haunted by Starscream's absence—the emptiness in his spark chamber growing with each passing day. Summary
Awakened, yet lost.
Reactivated on an organic alien world, the few Autobots and Decepticons form a temporary truce in order to return to Cybertron.
However, all is not well. The Decepticons struggle internally under their new leadership of Starscream. His crown hangs heavy as the weight of leadership forces him to question his own loyalty to his cause.
Optimus Prime, the indomitable and legendary leader of the Autobots, must protect their adopted world from those who seek to destroy it, even as he struggles to protect those closest to him.
But what remains of Cybertron — three-hundred years have passed since the Ark’s crash — how much still remains amongst it’s ashes?
