Midoriya x !BlackReader fic where your hair gets wet while you’re hanging out, shrinks, and you freak out trying not to let him see you like that. (And he’s, of course, super understanding and chill and fluffy and adorable when he does finally see you).
That’s the original oneshot idea I had for this, but now I’m definitely thinking of expanding the story. Also, this fic will hopefully appeal to everyone, not just Black readers. I only made reader Black bc hair shrinkage when it unexpectedly gets wet is the main conflict/catalyst of this story. So Reader is just a normal, relatable person that just so happens to have hair that does this.

Summary
Dynamight's way too busy to bother with anything other than being the best of the best. That being said, a good cup of coffee now and again can't hurt. And neither can maybe not minding the nice owner of the only bakery and coffee shop in Tokyo that's quiet enough for him to get some damn work done.
AKA Red Riot drags his best friend into your place one morning, and from there Dynamight starts showing on his own, and of course, after many visits, starts to get to know the person who makes-admittedly-Good coffee and alright pastries. A (Somewhat) light hearted story about a reluctant Dynamight making friends with an annoyingly nice and thoughtful girl who he has absolutely nothing in common with and eventually (To his dismay) falling for his worst nightmare.

Summary

However, as your band reaches those in other countries, spreading like a wildfire, there are more and more threats from the media. A stalker has begun to send you personal information, pictures of you in your home, and packages with contents that leave you more than concerned.
The entirety of the band, as well as your manager, insist that you hire a bodyguard. With help, you hire the top security guards the market as to offer; Bakugou Katsuki and Midoriya Izuku.
During a world tour, you often find yourself in between them, constantly under their protection. When the line between professional and friendship starts to fade, you begin to question yourself; will you pine after sweet, caring Izuku or stubborn, strong Katsuki?

After being Peter's friend for as long as you can rememeber (and pining for him just as long) you start to notice him drifting away. He starts missing hangouts. Cancelling plans. When an empathy spell you cast goes awry, you hear his thoughts and figure that the person that he has a crush on isn't you. The devestation makes it easier to grow closer to Spider-Man, lets you ease into telling him your boy-troubles, tell him about your unrequited crush on Peter Parker.
