He expects Tim to balk at that, deny it faster than he can get the words out. But he doesn’t. He just continues to stare down with that same straight face. This isn’t like Tim. Sure, he’s nervous and fretful at the best of times, but Tim doesn’t make a decision without his full confidence behind it. The Tim that he knows wouldn’t just show up here unless he knew exactly what he wanted, and why.
