Two months in and Ed was still pulling Stede back into the warm sheets while he tried to dress for work. Just this morning, Stede pouted for the better part of ten minutes while Ed kissed apologies onto his lips after they finished lunch and had to go back to their respective workplaces—it was safe to say, things were going very well.
So well, in fact, Stede has invited him to meet his children and his ex-wife and her husband. To color Easter eggs. For the holiday. With his family.

Swallowing around the sudden knot in his throat, Ed gives a weak laugh. “Suppose so.”
Stede pushes himself onto his elbows with a little grunt as cool air touches his chest, running a hand through his hair in a futile attempt to tame his bedhead. “You are not too much,” he rasps. “You are exactly enough. And I like it very much.”

Summary
Stede has been operating his flower stall at the open-air market for almost two years when Queen Anne's Vineyard debuts their newest addition-- Mercy. Known for their flagship wine, Revenge, Mercy is the first non-red wine Queen Anne has made in their decade in business. Located just a few stalls over from Silk and Honey, Stede can't keep his eye (or mind) off the handsome vintner as he peddles their new rosé.
Despite being in the business of love, Stede has resigned himself to being too fussy too needy too particular too much for romance—then Edward Teach breezes into his life and has him questioning everything.
