Summary
Sometimes you get so close to someone, you end up on the other side of them.
An exploration into my Female!Harry headcanon from book 5 and onward where good men are greater, some men are monsters, and there is almost always room for redemption. Isn't it awful to hate them when bad people do such good things?

Bookmarker's Notes
I’m living for the plot but also for Ron. (He’s precious)
Edit: oh. My. Gosh. The plot. The PLOT. It’s insane. Utterly insane. Harriet has some serious issues. Snape and Lily also have serious issues. (Snape is creepy but not as creepy as I thought he would be with the creepy tag? Like we don’t see most of it I feel so it’s almost like it’s censored LOL. Idk why but I mostly just feel bad for the guy XD.) The plot is so good- a bit dark and totally mind shattering. The characterization is also amazing, (different than cannon but still in character if that makes any sense and I swear in the best ways possible, especially especially especially Ron and Hermione I swear) and makes even bellatrix more human/ sympathizable.
Edit edit: writing is so terribly amazing and it makes me want to scream, laugh, swear, and cry but also manages to leave me speechless- I absolutely adore this story so much I have no words. My jaw has actually dropped several times while reading and I’ve covered my mouth too many times to count. This story is well written, has a dope style, funny, witty, dark, real, and just an amazing jaw dropper, I am hooked. It makes my brain whirl I swear- I can’t stop thinking about it.
At times I find it a tad confusing but it usually clears up later in the story which is super duper cool. A few things feel like they’re left out and just summarized but that’s also cool- it definitely adds to the slightly unreliable narrator character that is Harriet potter, and it’s not like it feels rushed

Summary
A letter from home? A letter from family? Well, Harry Potter knows he has neither, but all the same, it starts with a letter from Surrey. Whatever the Dursleys have to say, it can't be anything good, so Harry's determined to ignore it. But when the Potions Master forces him to read his letter, Harry gets sent down a path he'd never have walked on his own.
It will be a year of big changes, a year of great pain, and a year of Harry confronting his worst fears.
But from the most unexpected of sources, Harry Potter will finally get a chance to have that which he has never known: a family.A sixth year fic, this story follows Order of the Phoenix and disregards any canon events that occur after Book 5.
Warning -- the comments can contain massive spoilers so proceed with caution!

I love love love the dialogue, it’s perfect. And although the plot is slow it’s still very intriguing and interesting. There are quite a few funny moments, and they’re quality humour. Characterization is also interesting, and there’s a lot of redemption (not that I’m complaining). I appreciate how it’s gen as well

WHORE. BLOOD TRAITOR. MURDERER.
I will accept no restitution but your life. Those are the words Theo sent Draco, once Draco Malfoy and now Draco Black. The words Draco will never tell anyone that Theo sent. As Draco enters into that fatal sixth year, those are the words that hang over him as he tries to protect his friends, his new family, his godfather. As he tries to protect the boy he loves from the boy he once loved, whose life he ruined with one curse. But Draco has another word now: Dantanian. The key to his wand, to his blood, to the past, to three mirrors, and to his aunt waiting to take her own forfeit from him. The pursuit of Dantanian will take Draco beyond his own past, to truths too horrifying to accept, and acts too evil to speak. To the Prisoner of Nurmengard.

Summary
A man is dead at Draco Malfoy's hands, and the consequences will reverberate for Sirius, for Harry, for the wizarding world entire, and, most of all, for Voldemort. It is not so easy, though, to forsake his parents and his old friends in Slytherin, as he is forced to choose what he will become and who he will leave behind. The only certainty left to Draco is his own power, which is becoming stronger and stranger and more and more dangerous.
Almost as dangerous as how much he loves Harry Potter.

Really good characterization, very funny, and THE PLOT, THE PLOT IS SO GOOD I LOVE IT
Romance is cute I guess but honestly I’m not the biggest fan of the romance (but that’s probably bc I’m picky when it comes to romance) but literally everything about this fic is so good
Dialogue is so good just so good
