Summary
When a monster hunt turns into a disaster, Geralt is convinced that this ist the contract that will cost him his life. But if he has to go down, he'll make sure to take the final monster with him - resorting to drastic measures that are more effective than he would have thought.
A day later, a strange boy with Witcher's eyes and sketchy memories appears before Jaskier and Lambert and asks them to rescue a not-quite-dead-yet Witcher with whom he shares a confusing connection.
Add Eskel, who had been seeking Geralt for reasons of his own, to the rescue party, and you have three-and-a-half people that set out to safe the Witcher, who’s a friend, annoying brother or beloved - depending on whom you'd ask.
Will they get there in time? And if they do - will they actually be able to save Geralt, or will there only be time for a final goodbye?

Summary
Everything goes to shit on the mountain. Geralt cannot cope and decides to drive Jaskier away before he hurts him further. Jaskier decides to leave Geralt some space before they discuss what just happened. Geralt uses the chance to find his peace and quiet he craved, and to rid the world of one more monster at the same time.

These files have your background information, job positions and anything else you may need to create your character.” Shouta raises his eyebrows as he opens the front page and sees his new name - Otani Kentaro, apparently - printed next to Yagi’s. Otani Yoritoki. His husband’s name, by the looks of things. There’s no way in hell they can pass this off as brothers.
Shinso watches him leave, scratching at his face, before he looks up at Shouta curiously. “So. Dad,” He begins, and a shitty little smile crosses his face after a moment. “How much experience do you have with teenagers?”

Yagi may have been sorry, but Aizawa was not. As dry as paperwork could be, he found that hadn’t entirely minded. Since he usually patrolled the nightshift, Aizawa slept half the day away, then spent the other half laying around his apartment until Yamada or Kayama or both dragged him out to “socialize,” and “have fun,” and “actually have a goddamn life what the hell Aizawa have you been out during the day even once this month.”
Spending time sitting with Yagi, quietly working, drinking coffee and sharing the occasional word—it was a bit of a jarring change of pace. But not unwelcome.After a particularly nasty villain attack, Aizawa finds that he has the misfortune of spending a week with All Might doing paperwork. Or maybe not. As much as he's dreading the meeting, he finds himself taken with the gentle secretary, Yagi Toshinori. It's clear Yagi is suffering under the weight of painful secrets, and Aizawa isn't used to opening himself up to others. Time to tell the truth is limited. But with heroes, isn't that always the case?

Summary
If you had asked him where he thought he would be at age twenty-five, Aizawa Shōta probably wouldn’t have said, “Sharing a crap apartment with this weird guy who’s somehow sort of become my friend, trying to kick a smoking habit, and failing to pay the bills with underground hero work.” He had, at one point, slightly more ambition for himself. But here he is, curled up on a futon in a room barely large enough to stretch out in, getting the shit kicked out of him on a semi-regular basis in the name of underground heroics and, presumably, the greater good. He’s been doing it for four years and will probably doing it for many more. What else is there?
It turns out, the answer is "a lot."

In which Aizawa and Yagi disagree about a lot of things, and yet keep finding themselves together. Being a hero means different things for different people. Not being a hero anymore means nothing; it is unimaginable. It's also unavoidable, so at some point they're going to have to figure out how to talk about that. First, though, they have to figure out how to talk to each other. (Story starts pre-canon and continues through current manga chapters.)
