Summary
“Since you’re a part of Yliaster, you should know the truth,” Antithesis said. “We all have differing ideas as to why our future is doomed. Z-ONE is allowing us to pursue our individual missions. There’s Antinomy playing the amnesiac. You know of Ap- Placido’s plan. Paradox is in and out, but we’ll all know if he succeeds. I just…”
Though Antithesis looked to the sunny sky, her maroon eyes were dim as black holes. “I believe in the good in this world. It operates ordinarily and nonbombastically. You may never hear about it, but please understand we’re all here to propagate that concept.”
—
Rain strikes a deal with Director Placido and in turn becomes a member of Yliaster. As usual, she had no idea what she was getting into. From learning about the ruined future to infiltrating the rebuilt Arcadia, the missions become intense fast. Their varying beliefs leave her head spinning: Placido’s cynicism about humanity versus Antinomy’s hope for the same, Antithesis’ quiet observations, Paradox’s loud hatred for the card game… and then that person not present yet looming over every decision. They whisper Z-ONE’s name like a prayer, a phobia, or both. So many paths to choose yet all seeming to wind towards destruction. -

Which is what a robotic partner requires on occasion, especially when he can't exactly go to a doctor. It's a certain kind of intimacy, truly.
And can absolutely lead to the regular kind of intimacy.
Since this is a one-shot collection, I'll add which tags are relevant in the notes at the beginning of each chapter. Not every tag applies to each chapter! POV-wise: some one shots are 1st person, some are 3rd person limited, and some are omniscient 3rd.

Summary
Iliaster's time travel device experiences an issue. As a result, Antinomy and Placido land in Satellite and atop the Arcadia Movement, respectfully. They're not at the decided time period following the fall of the Dark Signers and the construction of Daedalus Bridge. Instead they've appeared in Neo Domino prior to even the Fortune Cup.
While neither want to influence the course towards the immediate future, the mere existence of an observer tends to have its effects--especially those who can't help but meddle.

The experience in the other dimension left differing scars upon them all. Fumi is concerned about not hearing a peep from Edo, goes out on a limb, and invites him to a fireworks festival at the Academia island.
Him accepting is a pleasant surprise.

Summary
Chronologically, Shadow & Flame comes first. I HIGHLY recommend starting with Acid Rain, though, and it’s preferable that Under the Apple Tree is read before Clear Skies. PLEASE NOTE THAT ACID RAIN AND CLEAR SKIES ARE BOTH LISTED UNDER CLEAR SKIES - ACID RAIN IS THE FIRST BOOK IN THAT FIC. The order I suggest:
(1) Acid Rain - (2) Shadow and Flame - (3) Under the Apple Tree - (4) Clear Skies - (5) Defy
Note that 1, 2, and 3 are independent stories that can be read all on their own. Clear Skies directly follows Acid Rain, and Defy directly follows both Clear Skies and Apple Tree. 1, 2, and 3 can be read in any order, but Clear Skies and Defy NEED to be last. S&F serves as prequel focusing on an OC Cast in Atlantis as well as the fall of Atlantis
The Storm's End One-Shots are smaller fics with extra snapshots/chapters. Please note they're all over the place in terms of timeline, so they could spoil your experience!

Summary
This stage was starkly different than professional dueling arena. It didn’t have the roaring crowds or the fancy television crew. There was no fanfare of music that would sound at each duelist’s triumph, only the sound of chatter and hushed tones.
“Isn’t that…?” a voice could barely be heard above the gossiping murmurs.
“The former Northern Duel Monster champion?” another would finish.

[“Do you want to?”]
ARrrrRRR RYO'S AGGRESSION AND FORWARDNESS YESS[But what disturbed him was there was a deeper layer of pleasure that hit him once the electricity dulled down to a burning sensation.]
Oh Johan, you're sick (affectionate)[But, that path was bound to be laced with thorns and Ryo knew what it was like to earn the “Hell” in his moniker.]
This sentence is so beautiful, "laced with thorns"[He didn't give himself the chance to heal. The best he did was let Ryo's lips be his salve.]
GOD IT'S SO GOOD YOU'RE MAKING ME SHIP THEMthe toy... pain and pleasure... "unravel" ehehe <333 man you ate this one up!

Summary
Mai freezes in place, crouched down in front of the sorry corpse, arms around her knees. She can’t make herself turn around to face whatever horror has strangled the life from a warehouse full of bodies.
“Don’t kill me,” she gasps, a sound just as broken and piteous as that corpse's last whimper, just as futile. She’d never thought she would plead at the end; turns out there’s nothing like imminent death to wake up the part of your brain that desperately wants to be alive after all.
But death doesn’t come.
And it doesn’t come.
And in the third minute of death not coming, another sound breaks the silence behind her- Don’t, a small voice repeats in a whisper. Don’t - kill - me - but the syllables are strange, thickly awkward, like they’re unfamiliar to the mouth speaking them.
Mai realizes that after months of speaking only in English, her last words had somehow slipped out in Japanese.
A hopelessly adrift Kujaku Mai is on a mission to prove that she's worthy of the Seal of Orichalcos. Her very first assignment leaves her with the world's most unnerving houseguest: A woman with white hair, blue eyes, and the ability to rip human beings apart with her mind. Mai/Kisara
