Summary
In 2038 beings labeled as "variants" possess dangerous powers that are only controlled by metal collars produced by a company called AzureHeart, who seemingly understand more about these variants abilities than they are letting on.
Connor, a consultant sent by AzureHeart, helps the DPD solve crimes relating to variants and the impossibility of their powers being used even with the collars on.
Kara recently lost her memory in a terrible accident and is sent back to the home of Todd Williams, someone who claims to be her uncle, to work as his maid and nanny.
