In the wake of the accident Kirishima hadn’t really taken the time to stop and look at Bakugou, and he takes a moment to do so now. His deep red eyes only add to his scary resting bitch face, a feature that somehow doesn’t detract from the tall boy’s roguish good looks. He can’t believe he just threw up in front of one of the cutest boys he’s ever seen. A boy who’s car he also wrecked. He grimly reminds himself to focus on the situation at hand. You can’t exactly ask out a boy you are thousands of dollars in debt to.

He tries to remind himself that returning back to his podunk little hometown after two hard, penniless years in California is not defeat, but the idea of seeing the faces of the people he grew up with makes him nauseated. Virgin veins hold the gushing pain of a past that cannot die. It's not like he wanted things to end the way they did, sometimes life just has a way of flipping you on your belly and fucking you straight up the ass.
