“We didn’t have that in my day.”
“What?” Aaron asks, eyeing him curiously.
“A media liaison. A jet. A gay couple in the bullpen.” Rossi laughs under his breath, looking down at the desks below.
Aaron blinks. “I’m sorry, Dave… what?”
“A gay couple,” Rossi repeats, gesturing lazily at the bullpen. “The two young men down there currently sharing a desk.”
“Reid and Morgan?” Aaron’s voice goes up half an octave. Rossi isn’t sure he’s ever heard him sound so scandalized.
Rossi joins the BAU and notices some curiosities within the team.

“Need?”
“That's right, you need it right now, kid.”
The answer is enough to distract Spencer from continuing to try and remove the breathing aid. “Not a kid,” Spencer answers moodily, trying to cross his arms but he is restricted by the IV in his arm. “‘M big”.
“Of course you aren’t,” the man answers placatingly, agreeing with anything Spencer says.

Or the one where Spencer is high on anesthesia and can't remember his own name, let alone who the handsome man holding his hand is.

”You’re bleeding through the bandage,” Derek groaned, pulling back for half a second, trying to catch his breath and stop his hands from wandering. “You shouldn’t be—shit, I should be taking care of you—”
“You are,” Spencer whispered, grabbing his face and pushing their lips back together. “You are.”
Neither of them noticed the footsteps outside.
Neither of them heard the crunch of boots on gravel, or the quiet conversation getting louder from outside the car.
And then they were falling.
Also known as: Derek meant to kiss the injuries better, not get caught dry-humping his boyfriend in a federal vehicle by his entire team.

Summary
If Spencer were a typical human he’d say that he can’t remember the last time he’d packed pyjamas in his to go bag. But that's not who he is, Spencer remembers the exact date and the exact moment he’d decided to stop.
He and Derek had been together for a few weeks, not long in real terms of a lifetime, but it had felt like they’d been together for years with how long they’d danced around the blurred edges of their relationship.
Even when Spencer would bring his own clothes, Derek would stubble into Spencer’s room, eyes half closed in exhaustion and curl up onto Spencer’s bed.
He’d reach behind his head to take his own t-shirt off, soft, oversized and worn down with love.
Spencer would take it without question and tuck it over his body, snuggling into the warmth and comfort of Derek’s scent.
Then they’d curl up together, Spencer half on top of Derek before they would drift off to sleep, at ease in each other’s arms even during the worst of their cases.

Or Spencer and Derek's nightly ritual on cases often involves sharing clothes, having sex, and snuggling in together as they fall asleep in each others arms.
