Summary
Following the events of “My Cookie,” Matcha Cookie now lives at the Strawberry Cake Tower. Despite the best efforts of Red Velvet Cookie, Schwarzwälder, and Esterhazy, it's not until she stumbles upon the gentle-hearted Herb Cookie that Matcha Cookie finally begins to heal. Sprouting from their surprising friendship, she finds herself pulled further and further away from the darkness… unwittingly putting those around her in grave danger.
Meanwhile, Espresso Cookie and Strawberry Crepe Cookie become the latest in a string of kidnappings, forced against their will to aid the Cookies of Darkness. While the child genius settles comfortably into old habits, Espresso Cookie struggles to learn more about the project and find some way to call for help. But Butter Roll Cookie is here as well and isn’t quite the way he used to be. In fact, Espresso Cookie’s old friend might be the greatest threat of all.

The room is too bright.
It’s quaint, in a nauseating sort of way. Polished floors glint from the gleaming honeycomb chandeliers overhead, make him squint. A few vases sprinkled here and there, filling the room with a sickeningly sweet scent – even a waffle-cone headrest framing the silken sheets of a neatly-tucked bed. Outside, the golden sun gleams, the gentle rays of light spilling past curtains that waver in the afternoon breeze.
It's meant to be beautiful. Luxurious. Welcoming.
