“Did you know there is a man lying in your alley?” Yelena asked, cocking her head to the side as they locked eyes.
“What?”
“There is a man, he is lying in the alley!” She repeated, louder.
Bucky blinked a few times, slowly turning to look out of his window. Sure enough, there in the middle of the alley, a man was lying on his front.
“Is he dead?”
Yelena shrugged, and took a swig from her beer before she gently shooed the white cat in her lap and stood.
“Don’t know, we should check, right?” She hummed, already throwing his window open and stepping out onto the fire escape. She gracefully threw herself down the stairs, and Bucky felt a large sigh punch itself from his lungs. Of course, he followed her.***
