Summary
Saparata has officially become the worlds most wanted man, and not in a good way... After escaping the trial, soon to be execution, he manages to make it out into the ocean. With ships closing in on him, he pivots course and rushes his dingy little boat into the brewing storm. Effectively scaring off the ships of the varying Nations.
Only when his boat capsizes leading him to believe he's met his end, he wakes up once more, coming face-to-face with some of the strangest people he thinks he'll ever meet.
A woman with hair that burns hotter than the sun, that only goes to rival against her composed, yet clearly chaos invested nature. With scars with stance that make no room for suggestion of a solider.
A man with fire littered skin, paired with a snarky personality only gifted to those who've managed to claw through the worst of the worst.
And a fish? Who's name feigns for recognition and screams of resilience, a fish with eyes filled with promises that cling to him brutally fighting to fester deeper than skin.
A crew of individuals who call themselves, "The Riptide Pirates".

The dog followed. He sped up, and it sped up too. How the thing managed to match him was infuriating. He pushed faster anyway, out of spite, until his lungs burned and the dog was still there, panting, tail up, incredibly stubborn.
Kaiser slowed, finally done with the game.But the dog didn’t.

"Jacob never made it a habit to look into people's eyes. Since his first shift he's always been nervous of Imprinting on someone, on anyone; it didn't matter if they were a friend or a stranger. He was just too young, he felt, to reasonably be confident being one part of a whole soul. He barely felt confident being himself most days.
So, he avoided eye contact. Easy enough most days. People usually don't even notice; and the few who did just thought it was a new, harmless little quirk, though odd. He could live with that, especially with him not going to public school and such. Billy hated that he purposely avoided finding his Imprint but honestly, he's only 17."
The age old fanfic trope of 'Jacob Imprints on Edward' and treated seriously. The timeline of it all is fudged so I could have fun.
