Obi-Wan had agreed to the assignment and headed for Mapuzo, knowing he probably, maybe, still carried some of his heat-sweet scent. He had counted on the strength of the Republic-issued filters all their ships carried to pull any wayward pheromones out of the air, as they always did. He had not anticipated being trapped inside of a tiny train compartment with two fold-up bunks, a minuscule fresher, shoddy filters, and one brooding, attractive alpha.

Obi-Wan and Anakin find themselves literally thrown together on a train during a mission. They work desperately to control their instincts… and fail spectacularly.

Anakin smiled, a bright, beautiful thing that lit up his eyes. He set the blanket on the ground and crossed toward Obi-Wan, then moved to embrace him from behind, arms wrapping around Obi-Wan’s waist, head tucked over his shoulder. “Good surprise?” Anakin asked softly.

“I get it,” she said, thumb brushing close to the corner of his mouth. “They’re trying to hurt you. You want to hurt them back.”
He nodded, suddenly incapable of speech. It was as if she’d short circuited his brain. All he could think about was her hand on his face; as close as she was, all he wanted was for her to move closer.
