Zoey is looking for a Rumira fic but is starting to believe she imagined the whole thing after not succeeding in finding the one she'd seen months ago.
Unexpected help comes through faster than expected, but so do trolls who aren't interested in true Rumira fandom - will she help her fellow fans find their polytrix fanfics she's pretty sure she's the biggest supporter of, or will she pretend the trolls have any power over her and go back to good old fashioned paper stories in her diary forever?
Rumira themselves might just be the ones to answer that for her.

“Your hands are all wet.”
“It’s just water,” Lara says, flushing anyway and thinking of how she had practically leapt out of the jeep when she had been dropped off, barely stopping to hastily roll up her shirtsleeves and rinse off her hands under the sink on her way to find Sam. She hadn’t even paused to dry them. “You know. Same thing you’ve been splashing around in all day while I was hard at work, straining my back and sifting through the sand for maddeningly long hours.”
“Pfft, I’ve seen your back,” Sam says, wrapping her arms around Lara’s torso demonstratively, reaching down to tug the tan linen shirt free from where it had been tucked into Lara’s pants, then sliding her hand underneath, below Lara’s undershirt to drag up her slightly sweat-damp skin, “it can handle a bit of strain. Anyway, you’re not fooling me, you big baby. Spending hours digging around for old pieces of pottery is, like, your favorite thing in the world.”
“Second favorite, maybe," Lara says, kissing her again.

There's been too much unsaid between them, for too long. Something has to give, and that something might just be an absurd amount of alcohol, a tree in a hole, and a near death experience.

Summary
Zoey has survived demons, destiny, and the weight of saving the world.

Set during canon events in the K-Pop Demon Hunter universe, this is a slightly AU hurt/comfort, recovery-heavy story told from Zoey’s POV, where broken ribs lead to something far more dangerous, the slow belief that she is only worth what she can do.
With Rumi and Mira at her side, not as leaders, not as fighters, but as lovers, Zoey must learn that love isn’t something you earn by bleeding for it.

Summary
Rumi knows that she doesn't have a soulmate, she realized that pretty quickly when she never Found any Lost items as a kid. She's come to terms with it and can even ignore the envious longing she feels when Mira and Zoey Find each other's things regularly.
So it shocks her most of all when she Finds something after they all settle back into the new normal.
