She may have forgotten, but the past never forgets.
Tragedy had struck the Varley home, and Bernadetta is left alone to fend for herself. That is to say, that would've been the case if it weren't for Jeralt's merry band of mercenaries stumbling upon her first.
After living as a roving mercenary, Bernadetta must now overcome the trials and tribulations that come with being a professor of the ever-fervent Blue Lions House.
However, from the shadows, comes a greater evil. 'History', 'fate', and not even 'destiny' can hope to challenge the chaos brought on by a mere "butterfly".
But with the 'Ashen Demon' by her side, there is very little which they cannot accomplish together. And they know it.
