The constant reminder of his own words keeps pounding in his head. When he made the decision to hook up with Oscar after inviting him to his apartment following their joint podium finish in Monaco, it was supposed to be just a casual fling.A fun way to ease the tension that had built up between them after a couple of incidents during some races—his heart wasn’t supposed to get involved at all, but as the months went by, he’d grown accustomed to Oscar. Carlos tried to convince himself that distance would be enough, that pulling away would put things back in their place, but it only had the opposite effect.
orCarlos accepts Oscar's invitation to fly with him to the preseason tests in Bahrain. It's only a few hours spent cooped up together in a private jet; he can definitely handle it.
