Summary
Jimmy's the new rancher in town, and despite having no experience raising livestock, is determined to make it in this life after finding himself as the owner of his late grandparents property. Tango is a wayward ranch hand who has been fired from every job he's ever had, and is desperate for any work he can get. Despite his reservations, Jimmy hires Tango to help out on the ranch. While Jimmy tries to hide the slow spiral of debt the ranch is falling into in order to keep Tango employed, Tango tries to hide that he's living in his pickup truck on the edge of Jimmy's land.
After a rocky start, they start learning to work together better, and each begins to realize that they have feelings for the other. Eventually, things come to a head on an evening filled with whisky spiked lemonade, and they find that they can give each other what they need, in more ways than one.

“Let me guess.” Impulse says, “only once your body has given up on you, can you sleep wherever you crash?”
Tango swallows, looking away from Impulse with crimson cheeks, “Oh Impy…” he chuckles," You know me so well.”
“Have you been eating and drinking?” Impulse asks.
Tango looks back up at Impulse, grinning, “I have actually.” he says, “I don’t want to get anymore pesky headaches, so I’v been pretty consistent drinking water, and I’v setting a timer to go off when I need to eat.”
“Good.” Impulse says, “Now, when was the last time you touched yourself?”
Tango turns red yet again, “Impy, I-...” Tango bites his lip, “I don’t remember, it has to have been a week or two ago.” he says, "I've just been so busy, and tired.”
“Well, what if I took care of that for you?” Impulse offers, “just you and me tonight, “I’ll do all the work.” he promises, “but only if you're up to it.”
Tango clears his throat, looking up at Impulse, “I think I would enjoy that.” he admits.
Or, Impulse knows when he gets busy with his projects, Tango will forget to take care of himself, solution? Sex of course "3

“You’re not okay,” Grian said, spotting the dark stain on the sleeve. Blood. He grabbed the guy’s arm to steady him. The fabric was soaked, warm and sticky, dripping slowly. Grian’s stomach twisted. “What the hell happened to you?”
The man swayed, knees buckling. “Whoa, easy!” Grian caught him under the arms, he was heavy as a sack of iron, and slung the stranger’s arm over his shoulders. Half-dragging, half-carrying, he hauled him toward the workshop. The man didn’t resist, just leaned in, breathing raggedly.
