    Mumbo was tired. He hadn’t slept in days. The moon wouldn’t let him. He had tried to reason with it. He was only human, after all, he needed sleep. It didn’t care. Grian had tried to support him. He had tried to stay up with him. It was a kind gesture, but doomed to fail. Grian had never been great with staying up late anyways, not unless he was working on a project. And without the moon’s constant nagging, nothing was keeping him awake. He had fallen asleep on the floor of Mumbo’s van while they were hiding from the phantoms which circled outside.
