A beat of silence envelops them briefly, Zhongli taking another step toward him but still not touching him. The aura of the Geo Archon crackles invisibly in the air, making Childe swallow as he fights to keep his hands to himself.
“Would you like for me to scent you?” Zhongli offers then. “It may ease some of the discomfort.”
Childe proceeds to choke on his own spit.
