Tessa Anderson was captured by Hydra a little over a year ago. After being rescued by Captain America, she falls in love with her great-uncle's best friend--which doesn't complicate anything. Hydra doesn't take kindly to those who take away their toys. So, what happens when Tessa tries to live a normal life?
The timeline is slightly off by like a year-ish because I'm impatient and wanted to move the plot along. But it's mostly canon compliant, to an extent for an AU.
