    The thing about addiction is it always sticks around. It might get better, have its ebbs and flows, but it never really goes away for good. That’s something David quickly learned a few months into university.

    It started harmless, as most addictions do. Drinking a bit at parties, at pubs, then just drinking in his dorm. Then bringing a small stainless steel water bottle everywhere he went.

    Moritz Stiefel had always done anything and everything possible to please his father, though nothing ever worked.
    His grades were never good enough, his room was never clean enough, his appearance was never put together enough, and so on.
    Moritz realized quite early on that he couldn't do anything about it, his mother & father would simply never be pleased with their son and that's that.

    Louis Braille wasn't born blind.
    He was born with his eyesight, he saw the world in beautiful color and saw the fun and goodness in everything.
    When he was very young he accidentally stabbed his eye with a tool, the infection had spread to his other eye and he went completely blind in both eyes by the time he was 5 years old.
