Summary
Summoned during the era of Papa Emeritus III, the reader has been a ghoul for a long time, and one of the only ones left in the Ministry from a different era once Papa Emeritus IV takes over the church and responsibilities. As a fresh wave of ghouls and ghoulettes are summoned, it is his job to teach them the ropes and ensure that they know they are pawns for the church and nothing else, the same lesson you, the reader, learned when summoned. But there's something dark going on behind the scenes. Something cruel is at the center of everything. And it's not just the treatment of the beings living there.
