Every Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., Carina DeLuca, owner of Seattle’s most sophisticated chocolate boutique wraps those chocolates in velvet and gold, pretending she’s not invested in the silent war unfolding through handwritten notes and rejected deliveries.
Maya wins impossible cases for a living.
Carina builds perfection from cocoa and precision.One believes in control.
The other believes in stability.Neither believes in fireworks.
But when rituals break and power shifts, even gold-wrapped apologies start to taste like surrender.
