Summary
Naturally, Lan Wangji was nervous. Not only was it his first time ever sneaking somebody into the Cloud Recesses, but it was his first time breaking the Lan rules. As an omega he was not permitted to fraternize with any alphas outside of the family. He had stopped himself along the way several times, not out of any sense of obligation, or because his conscience had gotten the better of him, but because he sensed others nearby and wished to mitigate the risk of being caught. Wei Wuxian threw in a word from time to time, but not once did he try to stop Lan Wangji — making it seem as though what he wanted was whatever Lan Wangji wanted, he didn’t actually care about getting caught or breaking any rules.
