Clearing his throat, Seteth continued, “You can choose the place and I will pay the bill to show my thanks, should you choose to go along with…” he gestured vaguely, “this.”
Seteth resisted the urge to drop his gaze after he finished his silly proposition, his hands clamped up.
A few moments of silence passed before Byleth’s voice finally broke through it.
“I’m in,” she said and Seteth’s heart skipped a beat in his relief. “I’m always up for helping out friends who can’t say ‘no’ to their daughter… and for free food.” She smiled at him.
