Luckily, Deanreldy Ezrest is a man who is equally as stubborn and a healer to boot. Perhaps Beldaruit is not willing to accept an alliance with the island king, but surely a little comfort will cause no harm.

Summary
When Sir Mateusz Holec meets a new and upcoming knight, Sir Andrej Balusek, he's captivated by the man's charismatic and positive attitude. What he doesn't expect is their meeting to kick off years of yearning, a love Mateusz didn't know he could have, and a brother-in-arms he can't lose.
What an interesting man, Mateusz thinks. He's never heard of Castle Redstone, but that's not unusual. There's so many little hamlets sprinkled throughout the countryside that he couldn't reasonably remember all of them. And a new knight, to boot.
But Mateusz already has taken a liking to him. He may be over-eager, but his positive attitude at least mirrored Mateusz's own. And his laughter, his clear charisma, was something that Mateusz appreciated. It would be good to have in battle.
