He knew what he wanted to do after that watching the show. He would be an acrobat. “I'll work really hard, I promise.” Hyunjin held out a pinky finger to the ringleader.
The ringleader, Mr. Chris, ruffled his hair and linked his pinky with Hyunjin’s. “It’s a promise then. We’ll save a spot for you, Hyunjin.”
A promise from his past opens an opportunity in his present, as Hyunjin is given the opportunity to join a circus and fulfill his childhood dreams.

He didn’t respond right away, their expression unreadable. “Come on,” he said eventually, standing and brushing off his knees. “Let’s get you out of here.”
Thanos smirked, barely conscious of the decision he was about to make. In one sudden, jerking movement, he grabbed the front of their shirt and yanked them down beside him.
“What the—” He barely had time to react before he was lying next to him, staring up at the same sky. “Ow!”
“Stars are nice,” Thanos murmured, his voice oddly content as he kept his eyes trained upward.
Nam-gyu froze, his breath catching. After a beat, he gave in, relaxing into the awkwardness of the moment. They lay side by side on the pavement, the steady hum of the city drifting around them.
“You’re a real pain in the ass,” Nam-gyu muttered, though his voice lacked any true heat.
Thanos just smiled, the hint of a laugh still in his throat. “I know.”
