Charlie was shouting along with the rest of the crowd when Fischer, number seventeen for Boston University, checked Adam hard into the boards and Adam went down and stayed down. Before he was aware of it, Charlie was on his feet, pressed up against the glass at the bottom of the stairs, his heart racing as he tried to see if Adam was ok.

Summary
Between their last year Eden Hall and the Junior Olympics, Charlie's head has been spinning. Trying to be a good captain and want the best for his team while his roommate is tearing himself apart is harder than it looks. Adam's been pushing himself harder than he ever has before, time running out to get hockey scholarships and he gets an injury he cannot afford. Eventually, he'll reach his breaking point.
