Things rarely worked out as planned. For Alec, at least.
One day you leave a fucking abusive home to go to college, the other you're so close to failing classes you didn't even know you needed.
He was failing classes, it was stressing him out... so why wouldn't he enjoy some time off? Some nights out on a roll? Break was almost over and his brother would absolutely be all up in his ass, forcing him to learn.
So Alec wanted a bit more freedom to make up for upcoming lost time.He'd never blacked out like that night.
He would've loved to be able to remember the guy he woke up with.
