Eddard Stark lost over half his family because of mine, and yet he will welcome me as his kin?” Her voice rose at the last, as she was no longer able to hide her disbelief, her fear.
“Ned Stark is a man of honor,” Stannis said. “He has no interest in avenging his family by tormenting you.” Unlike the king, neither of them said aloud.

Summary
Toxic asks Shroud for some time off to attend a gaming convention so he can participate in a Magic: The Gathering tournament. If anyone asks, it's less out of true passion for the hobby, and mostly because TCG enthusiasts are incredibly easy to rile up.
The only wrench in his leisurely weekend plans of enjoying the nerdy ambiance and trolling lesser nerds with his bad attitude is stumbling upon two of Mecha Dick's rehab rejects in the gaming room. And then they drag him into a three-way warm-up match to test their mettle before the tournament.
Cool. Awesome. Fucking outstanding, just... a phenomenal situation for him to be in, specifically.
He just has to remind himself not to work up a sweat in this sweltering fucking convention center. Or ET and his fucking Lucky Charm are going to clock Toxic in an instant.

Robert is especially not in the mood for this now: he did not have a nice day, and all he planned for the evening was a dive into his own misery in the company of Beef and that bottle of whiskey the Z-team has got for him just in time. But Toxic is not going anywhere, which means he'd better get to the point where anything coming out of his mouth sounds incoherent before he manages to ruin this for him completely.
Robert's day sucks, and his choice of entertainment activities for the night is unlikely to make it any better.
