Summary
It starts out with a little bit of jealousy. Healthy. Steve doesn't like sharing. Typical only child. And every second word out of Dustin's mouth is Eddie Munson. Eddie Munson this, Eddie Munson that. Eddie thinks, Eddie said, Eddie doesn't like.
Eddie, Eddie, Eddie.
It's only natural to do a little background check. You wouldn't just let anyone babysit your kids.
or: Steve Harrington starts stalking Eddie Munson. It might be more than he has bargained for.

Summary
In 1998, 72.5 million passengers passed through Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
One of them was Steve Harrington. In fact, a lot of them were Steve Harrington. Every Friday, just like clockwork, he strides off flight 303 from JFK to ORD, in his suit and tie, phone plastered to his ear.
Somewhere else in Chicago, Eddie Munson's life is pretty good. He lives with his best friend. He works nights at a bar he loves. No, it's not what he'd imagined his life was gonna be like at thirty-two, because Steve isn't here, and there was a time he couldn't ever imagine living his life without him.
But he has, and it's fine, everything's fine. Honest.
He's accepted it. Fortunately, the universe, and Gareth, have not.
After a chance sighting in that busy airport, Eddie has the chance to try and reconnect with Steve after nearly a decade apart.

Summary
Steve almost says it's locked, but Eddie reaches into his jacket, and pulls out a bobby pin. He squats down in front of the door, and Steve takes on the immediate role of lookout.
Then he asks, "Where'd you learn to pick a lock?"
"My old man," Eddie answers, and Steve understands what that means. The whole town knows about Eddie's dad and his multiple stints in prison, all totally sure that Eddie will follow in his footsteps soon enough.
A minute later, the lock is successfully picked, and the door is opened, revealing a nasty set of steep stairs.
"What's this?" Steve asks, looking upward.
"A stairway to heaven," Eddie says sarcastically, then demands, "Climb."

Summary
"Can I help you?" Eddie hollers. No matter how good looking this guy is, Eddie doesn't have time for anything else. He can't add anything to his plate. He's got maybe an hour before he'll be unfit to be around the public.
Not that Eddie's ever really fit to be around the public. But that's how he likes it. Eddie would prefer it if he never had to actually interact with the customers at all.
This dude included. Maybe especially this dude, because he looks like another alpha. A preppy motherfucker. That's just asking for trouble today. And Eddie? Eddie's been in enough trouble to last a lifetime. He's on the straight and narrow now.

Summary
Despite how it seems, the storm chasing community is actually pretty small. So, when someone new shows up, it's worth taking note.
At least, Steve Harrington thinks so.
Sometimes it's a newly trained expert. Someone fresh out of school that's spent years studying meteorology before finally getting out into the field for some hands-on experience. Other times, it's some video live streamer, looking for a bunch of views and an influx of cash in trade for being a little too reckless.
Of course, Steve's just the wheel man, so what the fuck does he know? That's what Henderson would say, anyway. Steve's supposed to drive, not get them killed, and follow the little dickhead's directions. That's it.
